· We the People are tired of irresponsible spending of taxpayers’ money and actions taken by the state and federal government which threaten the financial health of the United States of America. We refuse to allow our government to mortgage our children’s and grandchildren’s futures.
· Hardworking, taxpaying, law abiding Americans should not be expected to shoulder the financial burden of pork projects and unsustainable entitlement programs.
· All levels of government should be subject to specified term limits.
· Elected officials work for the People and the People must hold them accountable. To do this, the People must be informed and engaged. It is the responsibility of the People to regularly contact their elected officials to express their opinions regarding pending legislation. We must also educate or friends and neighbors and engage in an open and honest debate. The People must identify and elect people with similar core beliefs.
· Balanced budgets are critical for our economic stability and prosperity.
· Our elected officials should READ and UNDERSTAND every word of every bill they ever sign.
· Government run banks, auto companies, health care, or any other government-run business is unconstitutional.
