This is as informal as last year. Open mic, no pre-planned speakers, music, and Rico will be there with his hotdog cart!

Support Westerly Businesses

The Westerly Tea party is asking all those who attend the Westerly Tax Day Tea Party to shop in the all the downtown businesses before and after the Tea Party.

Our downtown business community is struggling as the bridge over Broad Street from CT remains closed after the epic flood that devastated parts of our town.  All the businesses on High Street, Broad Street, and Main Street are OPEN.  You can access downtown from CT by using Rt. 78, the Whiterock Bridge or Stillman Ave.

Please support our local business by having breakfast or lunch in one of the many restaurants or shop for clothing,  jewelry, shoes, art, gifts, and other items. Here is a map with all the downtown businesses. Tell them the Westerly Tea Party sent you.

Bring a sign, bring a friend and bring a donation for the Jonnycake Center’s Flood Relief Drive.

AM 1230 WBLQ will be broadcasting LIVE!

Come with a sign and stand on Main St at noon, across from McQuade’s Marketplace and wave your sign at the lunch time traffic.

Make a day of it and head to Providence for 3pm.

Bus To Providence Tax Day Tea Party

A bus will depart Westerly at 2pm to go to the Providence Tax Day Tea Party from 3 to 6pm.  Go to www.riteaparty.net to reserve a seat.
